David W. Jones is of counsel to Fortenberry Legal PLLC and a principal in Jones & Jones, Attorneys, P.C. He began practicing law in 1991 with his primary focus in the areas of real estate law, tax law and estate administration. Mr. Jones has extensive experience in a wide variety of corporate, commercial, public utility and real estate issues. This experience includes, among other things:
- Representing clients in connection with transactional matters related to the formation, governance and termination of corporations, LLCs and partnerships
- Assisting clients engaged in commercial transactions, including drafting and interpreting contractual arrangements and representing clients in commercial litigation
His practice remains devoted to residential and commercial real estate transactions, tax and estate matters. His goal is to be a proactive “partner” with his clients in their legal and business needs. He function as a counselor who not only helps clients in times of crisis, but plays a significant role in the planning and preventive capacity to help his clients avoid potential legal crises. He tries to fulfill this role by maintaining close communications with clients and by providing newsletters, updates and seminars to keep clients appraised of changes in the law that could affect their businesses, their industries and their legal well-being.
